Branding, Design & Promotion

Your brand should look like you. It should work wherever you and your business show up.

A brand is more than a logo. It’s the visual language that helps people recognize your business and understand what you do.

Maybe you’re starting from scratch. Maybe you already have colours, fonts, logos and years of materials, but nobody has ever pulled them together. Or maybe you’ve simply outgrown what you started with.

I help businesses, organizations, authors and creators turn those pieces into a visual identity they can actually use.

Branding & Visual Identity

You don’t always need a rebrand.

Sometimes you need someone to look at what you already have, identify what’s working, fill in what’s missing and create enough structure to make everything feel like it belongs to the same business.

That might include:

  • Brand palettes and typography
  • Visual identity development
  • Logo design and refinement
  • Brand reference guides
  • Existing-brand cleanup
  • Templates and reusable design systems

And please don’t burn down a perfectly good brand because somebody told you it’s time for a “refresh.”

Sometimes you need a new identity. Sometimes you need someone to organize the 47 slightly different versions of your logo floating around the internet.

Design That Has a Job to Do

Pretty is good. Pretty and useful is better.

If your gorgeous graphic is impossible to read, your business card doesn’t tell people what you do, or your promotional material leaves people wondering what they’re supposed to do next, we have a problem.

Design has a job. Let’s make it do its job.

Projects can include:

  • Business cards and print collateral
  • Posters, flyers and promotional materials
  • Social media and digital graphics
  • Event and launch materials
  • Branded documents and resources
  • Publication and author materials
  • Website graphics
  • Marketing collateral

Need one piece? Fine.

Need fifteen pieces that all have to look like they came from the same place? Also fine.

Promotion & Launch Support

Creating something is only part of the job. Eventually, people need to know it exists.

I help clients turn launches, events, books, services and business ideas into cohesive promotional materials that work across digital and physical spaces.

Because your website shouldn’t be saying one thing while your Facebook page, business card and event poster look like they belong to three different companies.

A Logo Won’t Fix Your Business

There. I said it.

A beautiful logo cannot fix confusing messaging, a broken website, inconsistent content or a business nobody understands.

That’s why I don’t look at design in isolation. I’m also thinking about your website, content, audience, systems, publishing, marketing and what you’re actually trying to accomplish.

Sometimes you need a logo and sometimes you need someone to tell you the logo isn’t the problem.
