Running a business online requires a surprising number of moving parts. Your website needs somewhere to live. Your email needs to work. Your files need to be organized. Your content needs to get published. And ideally, all of those systems should work together without creating more work for you.
These are business tools and resources I use, have experience with, or genuinely recommend.
I don’t believe in adding technology just because it’s popular. A good business tool should solve a problem, simplify a process, save time, or make your business easier to manage.
In other words: the tools should work for you — not the other way around.

These aren’t tools I’ve added to fill out a list. They’re tools I actually use and have experience with in my own businesses and client work.

Website Hosting
GreenGeeks
I’ve worked with a lot of websites and hosting environments over the years. GreenGeeks is what I currently use for my own hosting.
GreenGeeks offers WordPress hosting with built-in caching, automatic updates, daily backups, security features, and 24/7 support. They also maintain an extensive library of WordPress tutorials and technical resources, which is useful whether you’re setting up your first site or troubleshooting something years later.
For me, good hosting should mostly stay out of the way. I want my websites to be fast, secure, backed up, and supported without turning hosting itself into another job.

Business Email & Workspace
Google Workspace
Google Workspace has been part of how I run businesses and organize my work for years.
It brings professional email, Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet, and other tools together in one ecosystem. I use it for everything from business email and document storage to collaboration, scheduling, spreadsheets, and sharing files with clients.
If you’re already comfortable using Google’s tools personally, moving to Workspace for your business is a relatively painless way to create a much more organized professional setup.
International Payments
Wise
I use Wise for international payments and moving money between currencies.
It’s particularly useful if you work internationally, have clients or contractors in different countries, travel, or regularly need to receive and convert money in different currencies.
Rather than treating international payments as a special event every time they happen, Wise gives me a practical way to manage multiple currencies and international transfers in one place.
